Fastight Airseal Coating is a high performance coating specifically developed to radically improve the degree of airtightness of porous components that form part of the overall building airtight envelope. Typical situations where Fastight Airseal Coating can be used are as follows: (1) Improving the airtightness of exposed masonry which in general provides a very poor barrier to the passage of air. (2) Coating exposed mineral wool sections which exhibit little if any airtightness if left untreated. Fastight Airseal Coating can be applied by brush, roller or spray and exhibits excellent adhesion to the full range of building materials without the need for priming. Multiple coats my be required on some substrates. Fastight Airseal Coating has been independently tested for airtightness by Building Analysis and Testing – a UKAS accredited test facility and was found to provide radically improve the performance of masonry and mineral wool substrates.
